I never liked Scalia. Not a man of justice.

OT: This sounds weasle like. I supported the war intellectually and abstractly. I wasn't involved as much as I'm now politically. As you can tell by the discussion on my blog, support for the war is abstract, not specific.

I understand your point about the "abstract support" of war. I would say that most people in Congress who support the war, abstractly support it.

There are some supporters of the war, who are very specfic about it, but when it comes to supporting the troops and the pressing needs of veterens, they sudenly become abstract. Members of Congrees, fearful of drawing attention to the pressing needs of soldiers and veterans, need to be more specfic. Ofcourse, this is a different issue than the one you just commented on, but it just seems to need saying.
